Welcome to the June 2019 Newsletter.
Since our last issue the 2019 Network Computing Awards have taken place at an evening ceremony in London on 2nd May. Ex-England cricket captain Chris Cowdrey was MC for the event, and was assisted in presenting the trophies by talented impressionist, Kevin Connelly, as well as by Ray Smyth and Dave Bonner of Network Computing.
The Bench Tested Product of the Year category is open to all solutions which have been independently reviewed for Network Computing and is judged by Network Computing’s Editor, Ray Smyth. This year Ray named joint winners for the award in Endace and Nozomi Networks. Silver Peak Systems won the Network Project of the Year Private sector for its work with Mazars. iTrinegy’s work for the Land Systems Reference Centre was recognised with the Network Project of the Year Public Sector.
In the voting categories, NBM Technology Solutions became the new Distributor of the Year and the Excell Group became the Reseller of the Year. Proficio became the first winners of the Cloud Delivered Security Solution of the Year and webCRM won the highly sought-after Customer Service Award. The Company of the Year award was won by Allied Telesis, a long-established supplier which offers a wide range of solutions. It was the company’s third award of the night.
We’ll be featuring this year’s winners in this and future editions of the newsletter, and you can find more details on the Network Computing Awards website We'd like to once again congratulate all of our winners and runners-up, and thank our sponsors, guests, and everyone who took the time to vote online for making the awards such a success.
