Welcome to our May eNewsletter, which includes a news update on a genuinely heart-warming story that may not, at first glance, appear to have much to do with document management: a week or two ago two junior doctors, Ted Welman and Jack Faulkner reached the halfway mark in what is an epic 3,600 mile rowing adventure between Western Australia and Mauritius, aiming to raise funds for Medicins San Frontieres (MSF), the global medical charity which provides emergency care in areas affected by conflict, epidemics or natural disasters.
This extraordinary challenge is being undertaken in the hopes of raising £100,000 for the charity. You can find more information including a live tracker of the rowers’ progress at doctorsadrift.com/tracker, and if you were interested in supporting these brave (and possibly foolhardy!) individuals, go to www. pledgit .net/ campaign/9RTdql - our old friends at CCube Solutions are a Gold Sponsor of the two, and you can support them too.
