Welcome to our September eNewsletter – our news items this issue include a new research report from capture specialists HSA which suggests that the capture market is enjoying a rather unexpected boom at the moment, and one that is likely to continue for some time. The focus on Digital Transformation is doubtless part of the reason for this, as well as what HSA’s Harvey Spencer has called ‘Capture 2.0’, which is increasingly driven not just by cloud services but also by AI and robotics.
It remains to be seen whether these sea changes in the industry will come to influence the categories in the annual DM Awards – but if history is any indicator, the chances are that they will! The kind of things that we have been recognising and rewarding at the awards have evolved with the technology over more than ten years now, and that’s not likely to change any time soon. Online voting is now open, so to see the full list of finalists please visit the website (www.dmawards.com). Don’t forget, you don’t have to cast a vote in every category, just the ones that are relevant to your business, so do make sure your voice is heard!
