Welcome to February’s Document Manager eNewsletter, where we can at last share the full list of winners and runners-up in the DM Awards – our big night already seems like it was a long time ago! Amazingly, our team is already starting to plan for this year’s awards – I’m sure it will come around very quickly.
Speaking of things that are going to come around very quickly, we also feature a news piece in this edition from Kyocera, who are warning of a ‘paper document blind spot’ in organisations’ GDPR planning. Storing, accessing and transporting paper documents are all wrought with potential security and compliance issues, and it may well be that in the rush to automate compliance of electronic records, paper has been forgotten or ‘left till later’. But we don’t have long left – do take a look at Kyocera’s downloadable guide if you get a chance.
