Welcome to the February edition of the Document Manager eNewsletter. It includes a reminder about the upcoming AIIM Forum Europe event in June in London. Like so many other events over the last couple of years this one has had its problems with postponements through lockdowns and travel restrictions, but we're delighted to see it back on the calendar.

Industry events can often feel like staid inward-looking affairs, focused more on cross-sector networking than getting a message across to actual potential users - this has never been the case with AIIM's Forum (and before that, its Roadshow) events. There is always a focus on real world issues and on how organisations are actually working, rather than an idealised 'you just need to buy this solution from exhibitor X over there' approach seen at all too many IT shows.

The AIIM difference is in its round tables and seminars, its presentations and one-to-ones - it is a genuinely unique opportunity to talk to people who a) will understand the information management pains you may be experiencing, and b) can point you at suppliers who can actually help you because they've dealt with similar issues for clients in the past, rather than trying to foist their latest product release on you irrespective of whether it suits your needs. The event takes place at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms on 22nd June 2022 - we wouldn't miss it, and we strongly suggest you don't either.
